Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adrianinho Sarmento kicked off to start the match. Dagoberto Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Gil Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 played minutes E.C. Galera got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Esteves. Júlio Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Leonardo Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in E.C. Galera's zone, Cauan Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Camargo came out of the goal and Cauan Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Gil Santana managed to work through E.C. Galera's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gil Santana dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 21 played minutes S O B E R A N O CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Ramalho. Dagoberto Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Santana in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for E.C. Galera! Thomás Arantes hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Penha in the 38th minute of play forced E.C. Galera's goalkeeper Leonardo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Santana during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of E.C. Galera booed when S O B E R A N O CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauan Penha might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Camargo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cauan Penha ran back to his position shaking his head. Aníbal Ceresso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gil Santana made a kick off. Leonardo Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Santana in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Afonso Paes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dagoberto Nogueira, 1-1. In the 63rd match minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Dagoberto Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dagoberto Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrianinho Sarmento in the 66th minute. Bernardo Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dagoberto Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute Gil Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Cauan Penha made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Camargo. E.C. Galera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Gil Santana got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Esteves came free, but Dagoberto Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, E.C. Galera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê da Costa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to S O B E R A N O CIMZ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Thomás Arantes hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Cauan Penha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.C. Galera the free kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, S O B E R A N O CIMZ could leave the field as winners, despite E.C. Galera having more of the ball for most of the match.
