After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's João Pedro Mesquita got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Cauan Penha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléber Schmidt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 32nd minute Marcelo Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remo do Valle hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Júlio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Cauan Penha took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Kléber Schmidt to make any attempt to save it. After 95 minutes, Cauan Penha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S O B E R A N O CIMZ and the Coritiba Foot Ball Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Coritiba Foot Ball Club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
