When Leandro Costa fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GeRaÇãO-83's protests and gave Leandro Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Leandro Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Donato came free, but Luciano Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Godoi. In the 13th match minute, GeRaÇãO-83 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, one of GeRaÇãO-83:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GeRaÇãO-83. GeRaÇãO-83:s Luciano Dionísio showed great skill when he stopped Rodolfo Donato:s penalty. In the 24th minute, MUSHIBA FC's Rodolfo Donato dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 27 minutes of play, MUSHIBA FC's Cacá Ramalho made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Dionísio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Cacá Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Luciano Dionísio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Donato. 37 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Dionísio. GeRaÇãO-83's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 40 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Frédson do Vale. In the 44thth minute of the game Rodolfo Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GeRaÇãO-83's Luciano Dionísio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Bruninho Leite got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Donato to make the kick off. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Álvaro Tróia made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Dionísio. GeRaÇãO-83's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Luciano Dionísio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Tróia went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Alexsandro Jacinto hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Luciano Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Donato in the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the GeRaÇãO-83 defense, Rodolfo Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Dionísio. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Dionísio should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Álvaro Tróia notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of GeRaÇãO-83's Luciano Dionísio. Luciano Dionísio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Tróia in the 80th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Luciano Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Fontes in the 83rd minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Luciano Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rodolfo Donato came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the MUSHIBA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Donato couldn't finish the play. Luciano Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Tróia in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Rodolfo Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Dionísio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Luciano Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Donato in the 93rd minute of play. GeRaÇãO-83's Luciano Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Donato in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the MUSHIBA FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
