With a little luck, Dr Lecter SC's Albertinho Albuquerque got control of the ball when Rodolfo Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonçalo Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Valladares having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Dr Lecter SC's zone, Rodolfo Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho Albuquerque came out of the goal and Rodolfo Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute Rodolfo Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Mello's late challenge caught a MUSHIBA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Mello helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Gonçalo Mello got a free kick in the 59th minute. Murillo Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio da Costa in the 70th minute of play. Luan Leme might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albertinho Albuquerque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luan Leme ran back to his position shaking his head. Albertinho Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Vinícius Almeida threw the ball into play from the sideline. MUSHIBA FC's Luan Cosme quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. MUSHIBA FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
