In the 4th minute, Cacá Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertinho Albuquerque was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 8 minutes, Gonçalo Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dr Lecter SC and the GeRaÇãO-83 players grew even worse after the yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Luciano Dionísio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonçalo Mello. In the 15th minute of the match, Beto Cosme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luciano Dionísio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luciano Dionísio made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Beto Cosme sent off a good shot on target. GeRaÇãO-83's Luciano Dionísio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save GeRaÇãO-83 from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Beto Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Beto Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Dionísio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Luciano Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Mello in the 36th minute of play. Beto Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Luciano Dionísio made a huge save.

56 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo de Souza came free, but Luciano Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Luciano Dionísio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luciano Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Jacinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GeRaÇãO-83's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dr Lecter SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Alexsandro Jacinto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Luciano Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute Cacá Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erivaldo de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Dionísio having to interfere. Luciano Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Cosme in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Erivaldo de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Beto Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Dionísio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Luciano Dionísio came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Dr Lecter SC's Gonçalo Mello. But to his dismay, Gonçalo Mello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When Olívio Veiga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. In the 96th minute, Olívio Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Albertinho Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
