After 3 played minutes Renascer got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Urbano. 5 minutes into the match, Beto Cosme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilvan Sanches. Renascer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beto Cosme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Dr Lecter SC's Erivaldo de Souza in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Renascer's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Beto Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilvan Sanches was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Erivaldo de Souza got a free kick in the 14th minute. Renascer's Dito Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erivaldo de Souza in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Renascer from getting behind. Eusébio Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lauro Urbano during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lauro Urbano hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Bernardinho Paraense, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gonçalo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Beto Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilvan Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Renascer players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dr Lecter SC were winning 0-2.

In the 55th minute Gonçalo Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilvan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Beto Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Gonçalo Mellos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Gilvan Sanches to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Beto Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gilvan Sanches made a huge save. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bernardinho Paraense hit a great ball. Gilvan Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo Mello in the 67th minute. After 67 minutes, Eusébio Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Renascer and the Dr Lecter SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eusébio Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Renascer's Raimundo Melo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Renascer's zone, Bernardinho Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal and Bernardinho Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilvan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gonçalo Mello sent off a good shot on target. Erivaldo de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Guerra in the 94th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Albertinho Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardinho Paraense went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dr Lecter SC played a much better game than Renascer and deserved their victory. The Renascer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
