Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donato Prestes kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes of play, Curiphila Eagles's Donato Prestes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the match, Donato Prestes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Corrêa. Fúria Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Prestes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Sandrinho Vidal's late challenge caught a Curiphila Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandrinho Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Fúria Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Curiphila Eagles's Donato Prestes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vladimir Corrêa. Vladimir Corrêa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Naldo Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Corrêa having to interfere. Tadeu do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Vladimir Corrêa made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Curiphila Eagles's Kiko Mattos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vladimir Corrêa. That made the score 4-1 after 29 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Donato Prestes took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Vladimir Corrêa to make any attempt to save it. Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Vidal in the 38th minute of play. Murilo Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Vidal in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Paiva saved Curiphila Eagles from getting behind. Edgard Rezende took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murilo Paiva. Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sandrinho Vidal made the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Prestes in the 54th minute of the match. Sandrinho Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Mattos came free, but Vladimir Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Sandrinho Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fúria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Edgard Rezende hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Prestes came free, but Vladimir Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Prestes in the 79th minute of play. If Naldo Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Cearense in the 84th minute of play forced Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Vladimir Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's Jerônimo Luz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murilo Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Curiphila Eagles's Percy Borges got a free kick in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's Jerônimo Luz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 92nd match minute, Fúria Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Donato Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curiphila Eagles walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
