MarquinhosEC's Sílvio Luiz Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Madureira in the 14th minute of play. Sílvio Luiz Baiano was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Alfredo Madureira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Madureira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 23 minutes in the game, William Cosme fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sílvio Luiz Baiano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Leopoldo Travassos got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Fabinho Marinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flávio Leme was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabinho Marinho made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guto de Toledo got free with Flávio Leme in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the MDS Soccer Club defense, Dorian Prado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flávio Leme. The MDS Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flávio Leme should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 76 in the game by Fabinho Marinho from a close distance when the talented Flávio Leme managed to make a qualified save. MDS Soccer Club's players were relieved. Dorian Prado struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Flávio Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MarquinhosEC. MDS Soccer Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
