After some careless play in the MarquinhosEC defense, Beto Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Luiz Baiano. The MarquinhosEC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Luiz Baiano should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Beto Fontes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of MarquinhosEC's Sílvio Luiz Baiano. MarquinhosEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabinho Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MDS Soccer Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
