In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Toninho Trancoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leopoldo Travassos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Wilson Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Dito de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bertioga. Beto Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toninho Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilson Favoretto made a kick off. Wilson Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When SC Bertioga's Wilson Favoretto, in the 54th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SC Bertioga. Toninho Trancoso came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by MDS Soccer Club's Diguinho Catarinense. But to his dismay, Diguinho Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 64 minutes into the match, SC Bertioga's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Travassos came free, but Toninho Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Diguinho Catarinense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marquinhos Meirelles struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Dito de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bertioga.
