The supporters of Bucéfalo FC booed when LR Vanderslaike was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bucéfalo FC's Flavinho Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee showed Cristiano Lopez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 3-0 became the score in the 51st minute when Mazinho Damião elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mazinho Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano de Godoi was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Mazinho Damião put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Germano de Godoi. Frederico Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Flavinho Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bucéfalo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
