Flavinho Braga scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doriva Prado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute, Iuri Mattos made a precise shot to the right of Doriva Prado. GLADIADORES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ezequiel Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Doriva Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Damião in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Bucéfalo FC's Abelardo Saraiva got control of the ball when Oscar Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Bucéfalo FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Bucéfalo FC's Mazinho Damião looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. GLADIADORES's Doriva Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Godoi in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to GLADIADORES getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Enio Moraes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Braga in the 45th minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Doriva Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mazinho Damião to strike the kick off in the second half. Dorival Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Doriva Prado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Damião. GLADIADORES's Doriva Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save GLADIADORES from getting a goal against them. In the 66th match minute, Bucéfalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Bucéfalo FC's Franklin Barbosa was substituted for Iuri Mattos. Bucéfalo FC made a substitution. Chicão Sena replaced Nico Godoi. After a rather tough play, Bucéfalo FC's Rodrigo Nunes got a free kick in the 67th minute. Doriva Prado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chicão Sena went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Doriva Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Damião in the 75th minute of play. Mazinho Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Doriva Prado made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Oscar Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GLADIADORES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. GLADIADORES's Doriva Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Sena in the 95th minute of play.
