After 3 played minutes La Società Sport Osasco got a freekick which was hit by Alan Freitas. Tony do Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederico Romero went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Rockets's Dudu Madureira in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Società Sport Osasco's goalie prevented a goal. Tony do Vale was a little too slow when Joélson Melo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Naldo Garcia made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Società Sport Osasco's Perivaldo Marques. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Freitas in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geraldo Queiroz saved Rockets from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Fabinho Mattos threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Società Sport Osasco's Perivaldo Marques quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alfredão Galvão struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Geraldo Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Società Sport Osasco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Melo in the 30th minute of play forced La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Tony do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Madureira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Tony do Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 37th minute, Dudu Madureira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 41st minute, Rockets's Joélson Melo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony do Vale. Tony do Vale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Alfredão Galvão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geraldo Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dudu Madureira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dudu Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony do Vale having to interfere. La Società Sport Osasco's Tony do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Melo in the 54th minute of play. Tony do Vale came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Rockets's Joélson Melo. But to his dismay, Joélson Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Tony do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Perivaldo Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Romero took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony do Vale. Tony do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Tony do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Melo in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Melo in the 73rd minute of play forced La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Tony do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Società Sport Osasco's Tony do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Madureira in the 78th minute of play. Tony do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Madureira in the 80th minute of the match. When Joélson Melo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Rockets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joélson Melo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dudu Madureira in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Joélson Melo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rockets fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Vicente Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Dudu Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Melo in the 95th minute of play forced La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Tony do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rockets's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
