With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rômulo Donatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Magno Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rômulo Donatello was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Dalmo Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmo Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Abreu in the 37th minute of play forced 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's goalkeeper Rômulo Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Rodrigues hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Jacinto Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rômulo Donatello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jumeuc Futebol Clube reached it. A collision led to 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Dalmo Mazza hit a great ball. 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's Vito Rodrigues shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maurinho Sousa but with some difficulty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 booed when Jumeuc Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Maurinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian França in the 53rd minute of play.
