Frank Simões was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dário do Valle. Davi Leite scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ademir Mello came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by TaTeRo Boys's Zé Carlos Mendonça. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Acácio de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Simões made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Davi Leite sent off a good shot on target. 52 minutes into the match, Marcel Falcão notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of TaTeRo Boys's Frank Simões. Frank Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ademir Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos Mendonça in the 75th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme Amaral got free with Ademir Mello in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcel Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Simões having to interfere. Frank Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Maranhense in the 87th minute of the match.
