A collision led to TaTeRo Boys getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Zé Carlos Mendonça hit a great ball. Léo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Simões having to interfere. In the 13th minute Iuri Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Berger succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. In the 19th minute, Luiz Guilherme Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TaTeRo Boys were furious when Dida Baiano was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 22nd match minute, TaTeRo Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Frank Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Iuri Tinoco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Frank Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th match minute, TaTeRo Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Cunha to maneuver through the defense. The tension between the TaTeRo Boys and the Xapetuba Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henrique Lira's late challenge caught a Xapetuba Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Zé Carlos Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute, Iuri Tinoco made a precise shot to the right of Frank Simões. TaTeRo Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. TaTeRo Boys's Frank Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Tinoco in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, TaTeRo Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Lopes came free, but Frank Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Léo Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when TaTeRo Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Carlos Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
