In the 36th minute, Luís Guilherme Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, one of Belotaurus FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Belotaurus FC. Belotaurus FC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Romário Senna took the corner. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jefferson de Godoi made a kick off. Raphael Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute.
