To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabinho Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tadeu do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serginho Arantes in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeu do Valle saved A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 from getting behind. Válbson Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Dida Little made a huge save. Daniel Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Dida Little didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】. Válbson Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Dida Little made a huge save. After a rather tough play, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Lenílson de Godoi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Tadeu do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Saraiva in the 65th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dieguinho Campidelis during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
