Vitor José made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Lopez in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute of the match Olympique Deleon got a corner. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natanael Vale ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 77th minute, André Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Manfredo Duarte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kléber Lira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.E.R. Caxias do Sul reached it. Ronaldão da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Vitor José made a huge save. After 90 played minutes Olympique Deleon got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Nogueira. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Olympique Deleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball.
