The tension between the New Loser FC and the Barcellos Mineiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Pedro Goiano hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fellipe Souza hit a great ball. Gil Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deivid Bittencourt went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Souza in the 40th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandy Fumarola. 46 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Guimarães came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Barcellos Mineiro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Loser FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cássio Britto made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Fellipe Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
