After 6 played minutes América-SC F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Linares. In the 10th match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Adelino Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Alagoano in the 22nd minute of play. Adelino Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horácio Carvalho made in the 26th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcelinho Pimenta immediately put the ball in play. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when José Pedro de Moraes sped through Squadra Demarchi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oscar Saldanha. Adelino Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Alagoano in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Linares came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Moura during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 minutes, Rafael da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra Demarchi and the América-SC F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Rafael da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sílvio Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. Marcelinho Pimenta's late challenge caught a Squadra Demarchi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelinho Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes América-SC F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Siqueira. Gualter Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualter Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gualter Tróia hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The long shot by Claudinho Loyola in the 60th minute really tested Adelino Macedo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 61st match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Richard Moura put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Squadra Demarchi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of América-SC F.C.:s goal. Oscar Saldanha had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Ulysses Linares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when América-SC F.C.'s Ulysses Linares after 68 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-0. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Pimenta in the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 minutes of play, Squadra Demarchi's Kléber Queirós made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adelino Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro de Moraes in the 79th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Vidal. Gualter Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sílvio Alagoano in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adelino Macedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Squadra Demarchi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudinho Loyola in the 85th minute. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Pimenta in the 87th minute of play. Adelino Macedo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Squadra Demarchi's Kléber Queirós. But to his dismay, Kléber Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Adelino Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Alagoano in the 98th minute of the match. The Squadra Demarchi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented América-SC F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
