Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Fábio Goiano started the match with the kick off. Geovanni Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber Queirós in the 5th minute. Kléber Queirós in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovanni Almeida, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 15th match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Geovanni Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Britto in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, César Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brasiliense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Richard Moura got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Kléber Queirós in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovanni Almeida, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Eliseu Fernandez got a free kick in the 30th minute. Kléber Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovanni Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Alexsandro Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexsandro Britto was the one to do the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Luís Fábio Goiano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha. Oscar Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Squadra Demarchi's Alexsandro Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alexsandro Britto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovanni Almeida was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th minute of the match, César Coelho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oscar Saldanha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zé Pedro Garcia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Sérgio Batista got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Fabinho Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brasiliense FC's protests and gave Fabinho Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Fabinho Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Kléber Queirós made a precise shot to the right of Geovanni Almeida. Brasiliense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Nildo Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovanni Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Kléber Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra Demarchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléber Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Squadra Demarchi succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Brasiliense FC had controlled the match.
