The supporters of Brazil Academy booed when Squadra Demarchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Rafael da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cido Paranaense made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Róbson Simão. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Simão in the 33rd minute of play. Rafael da Rocha hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alexsandro Britto hit a great ball. Rafael da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha got control of the ball when César Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Torres in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Aírton Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael da Rocha in the 62nd minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper João Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Richard Moura hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brazil Academy's zone, Claudinho Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Azevedo came out of the goal and Claudinho Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute of the match Squadra Demarchi got a corner. Brazil Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudinho Loyola ran over to the corner to take the kick. João Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. João Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kléber Queirós showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 93 minute of play. Although Brazil Academy had been in control for most of the match, Squadra Demarchi still came away with the win.
