A beautiful save bye Dogelo's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Moura in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Serafim Terra hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Dogelo's Sílvio Moraes threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ian Mineiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dogelo's Pedro Augusto Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Drogba in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes, Goblins F.C.'s Waldemar Ramos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Silva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goblins F.C. reached it. 19 minutes into the match, Maicon Moura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sílvio Moraes, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Moura in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26thth minute of the game Zé Pedro Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dogelo's Pedro Augusto Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Dogelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dogelo's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Vivaldo Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Augusto Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Dogelo's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Azevedo came free, but Pedro Augusto Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Pedro Mendes in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Augusto Silva saved Dogelo from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enio Azevedo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Enio Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Mendes to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Viana. After 54 played minutes, Goblins F.C.'s Waldemar Ramos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Silva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goblins F.C. reached it. 55 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Moura came free, but Sílvio Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Dogelo's Pedro Augusto Silva got control of the ball when Waldemar Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Moura in the 64th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruninho Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Pedro Augusto Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vivaldo Vides fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dogelo's protests and gave Vivaldo Vides a yellow card for diving instead. Vivaldo Vides hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Bruninho Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enio Azevedo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Pedro Augusto Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Maicon Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sílvio Moraes was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Abelardo Varela hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Dogelo's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Mendes came free, but Pedro Augusto Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Goblins F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dogelo.
