Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) After 5 minutes, Chico Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindner F.C and the Wellington Phoenix players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Lindner F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Maciel to maneuver through the defense. Lindner F.C's Guto Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Rossi in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Dedê Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dedê Meireless short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Benedito Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guto Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Zonta in the 15th minute of the match. Guto Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Dedê Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mazinho Baptista took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guto Teles. Guto Teles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Guto Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Baptista in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Dedê Meireles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benedito Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guto Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mazinho Baptista went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Wellington Phoenix fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Wellington Phoenix's Gustavo Zonta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 38 minutes into the match, Wellington Phoenix's goalkeeper Benedito Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedê Meireles. In the 42nd minute, Gustavo Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wellington Phoenix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 46th minute, Gustavo Zonta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guto Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The Lindner F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wellington Phoenix were winning 1-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Zonta to strike the kick off in the second half. Dedê Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Benedito Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedito Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mazinho Baptista was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Wellington Phoenix's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 64th minute Mazinho Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Umberto Ceresso made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Silveira. Wellington Phoenix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. With an all-out effort, Wellington Phoenix's Guto Teles threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mazinho Baptista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A nice corner shot did that Amadeu Maranhense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guto Teles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 75 minutes, Mazinho Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellington Phoenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guto Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Maranhense in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Baptista in the 78th minute of play forced Lindner F.C's goalkeeper Guto Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guto Teles was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Dalmo do Vale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dalmo do Vale really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. In the 84th match minute, Wellington Phoenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes, Lindner F.C's Paul Tergat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benedito Silveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lindner F.C reached it. 88 minutes into the match, Lindner F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Baptista came free, but Guto Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lindner F.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Chico Maciel hit a great ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Mazinho Baptista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lindner F.C's Guto Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmo do Vale got free with Guto Teles in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
