In the 12th minute, Leandro Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Bittencourt. Remo Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Matorin in the 16th minute of play. Leandro Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Limoeiro-PE FC's Jeferson Vergílio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Remo Amaral but with some difficulty. Leandro Chaves charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Chaves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Leandro Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Lino Maestro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remo Amaral. ✪ XV de Umarizal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Maestro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 32 minutes, Ademar Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limoeiro-PE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademar Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kauan Pires's late challenge caught a Limoeiro-PE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauan Pires helped the player get up and apologised. Durval Cavalcante succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 43rd playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Maestro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Limoeiro-PE FC booed when ✪ XV de Umarizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcin Loco fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limoeiro-PE FC's protests and gave Marcin Loco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Marcin Loco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Vianna in the 57th minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Cristian Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the match ✪ XV de Umarizal got a corner. Limoeiro-PE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Deivid Arce ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Deivid Arce got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristian Brito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kauan Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Cristian Brito made a huge save. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Remo Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Cavalcante in the 66th minute of play. Deivid Arce struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cristian Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ✪ XV de Umarizal. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jeferson Vergílio hit a great ball. Lino Maestro took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remo Amaral. Remo Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Leandro Chaves got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 90 played minutes ✪ XV de Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Arce. For all the effort they put into the match, the ✪ XV de Umarizal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Limoeiro-PE FC.
