The referee ignored Leon Sport Club's protests and gave César Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by César Ferreira. Beto Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Jeferson Vianna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leon Sport Club's Beto Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Remo Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Mazza in the 10th minute of play. Beto Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeferson Vianna in the 19th minute. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Kauan Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Dorian Brito hit a great ball. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Hamílton do Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Hamílton do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leon Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Beto Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauan Pires in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Arce in the 41st minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Beto Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Leon Sport Club defense, Kauan Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Valle. The Leon Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Valle should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. Beto Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Vianna in the 62nd minute of play. Jeferson Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Beto Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Deivid Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when Leon Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Jeferson Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beto Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Vianna in the 73rd minute of the match. Leon Sport Club's Beto Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Vianna in the 78th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Jeferson Vianna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leon Sport Club's Beto Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beto Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Remo Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamílton do Nascimento. Leandro Chaves's late challenge caught a Leon Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. Leandro Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Deivid Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ✪ XV de Umarizal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
