Hernani Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Luizinho Catarinense notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of La Zorro Negro's Sandro Seco. Sandro Seco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edvaldo Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Paulo Renato Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edu Favoretto scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Seco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Zorro Negro's Sandro Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Trigo in the 23rd minute of play. Sandro Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizinho Catarinense went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Sandro Seco came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by AllRaf EC's Luizinho Catarinense. But to his dismay, Luizinho Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Sandro Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvaldo Bueno got free with Paulo Renato Martins in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to La Zorro Negro getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jeremias Rocha hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvaldo Bueno to strike the kick off in the second half. If Luizinho Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Renato Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Rossi in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Zorro Negro's Hernani Cosme got a free kick in the 75th minute. Fernandinho das Neves was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to AllRaf EC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Fernandinho das Neves hit a great ball. After some careless play in the AllRaf EC defense, Edvaldo Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Renato Martins. The AllRaf EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Renato Martins should have stopped the shot. AllRaf EC's Paulo Renato Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Bueno in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, La Zorro Negro's goalkeeper Sandro Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duarte Trigo.
