Luizinho Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of AllRaf EC booed when Maragassume AD - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beto de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Duarte Trigo sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Danilo Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paulo Renato Martins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Renato Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio de Godoi in the 16th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Maragassume AD - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Leite. Duarte Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto de Godoi having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Maragassume AD - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Beto de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Mendonça in the 39th minute of play forced AllRaf EC's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Renato Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes AllRaf EC got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Mangueira. The supporters of Maragassume AD - CIMZ booed when AllRaf EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

AllRaf EC's Paulo Renato Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Teixeira in the 54th minute of play. Paulo Renato Martins made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Célio de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. After 60 minutes AllRaf EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guilherme de Lara who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Osvaldo Teixeira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo Renato Martins quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, José Maria Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but José Maria Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Renato Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beto de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Catarinense in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Kléber Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beto de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Edu Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Maragassume AD - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Frank Fernandez. With a little luck, AllRaf EC's Paulo Renato Martins got control of the ball when Célio de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. AllRaf EC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
