Kaká Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Alcântara having to interfere. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when La Zorro Negro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinaldo Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Thomás Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Paraibano in the 13th minute of the match. If Hamílton Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás Alcântara came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Jukatriz's Luiz Eduardo Magalhães. But to his dismay, Luiz Eduardo Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thomás Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Vítor Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Kaká Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Vítor Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Alcântara having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Vítor Paraibano in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 played minutes La Zorro Negro got a freekick which was hit by William Tinoco. Kaká Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Paraibano in the 40th minute of play forced La Zorro Negro's goalkeeper Thomás Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Germano Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamílton Quadros to make the kick off. Thomás Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Linhares in the 53rd minute of play. Kléber Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Germano Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Thomás Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Eduardo Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, João Vítor Paraibano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thomás Alcântara. The goal made the score 0-2. Thomás Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Magalhães in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Jukatriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in La Zorro Negro's zone, Ricardinho Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomás Alcântara came out of the goal and Ricardinho Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of La Zorro Negro booed when Jukatriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuca Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to La Zorro Negro getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Kléber Alagoano hit a great ball. With a little luck, La Zorro Negro's Thomás Alcântara got control of the ball when João Vítor Paraibano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Jukatriz left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Zorro Negro.
