The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Luiz Donato was the one to do the kick off. In the 73rd minute, Flávio Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acácio Salgado. Pedro Luiz Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio de Almeida having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Ribeiro in the 95th minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmir Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Eduardo Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Cestarolli FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
