The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Toninho Coutinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Luiz Corrêa. That made the score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Vander in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luiz Corrêa saved Inazuma Japan from getting behind. Pedro Luiz Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ricardinho Vander sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Ricardinho Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luiz Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Pedro Luiz Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.
