If Ulisses Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Sílvio Luiz das Neves threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Fabiano Leão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 40 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Borges. 42 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Augusto Favoretto. After 47 minutes, Moisés Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Litoral EC - CIMZ and the Joinville City - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Augusto Favoretto made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto Favoretto came free, but Sílvio Luiz das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Edson de Lara got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Ricardinho Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Toninho Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Litoral EC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Coutinho couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Vander came free, but Edmundo Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luiz das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Fred Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Virgílio Borges sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Joinville City - FSCMZ's Edmundo Falcão didn't even have to move. 82 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Vander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edmundo Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Cristiano Baptista got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Virgílio Borges shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmundo Falcão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Joinville City - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fred Alves hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Kauã Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Luiz das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Joinville City - FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Litoral EC - CIMZ for a fine match.
