When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Luís Paulo Ferreira sped through Inazuma Japan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Luiz Corrêa. Luís Paulo Ferreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Pedro Luiz Corrêa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Inazuma Japan's Pedro Luiz Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Ferreira in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Luiz Fabiano Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luiz Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Edmundo Falcão came out of the goal and Décio Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Inazuma Japan's Alfredinho Arantes got a free kick in the 44th minute. Gino Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Fabiano Leão to strike the kick off in the second half. Sílvio de Alcântara hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Luiz Fabiano Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luiz Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After some careless play in the Inazuma Japan defense, Luiz Fabiano Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luiz Corrêa. The Inazuma Japan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luiz Corrêa should have stopped the shot. With 76 minutes on the clock, Claudinei Lopez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 76th minute, one of Inazuma Japan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inazuma Japan. The referee gave Joinville City - FSCMZ a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kauã Terra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Inazuma Japan's Pedro Luiz Corrêa. 8-0. After some careless play in the Inazuma Japan defense, Luiz Fabiano Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luiz Corrêa. The Inazuma Japan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luiz Corrêa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 87th minute of play forced Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luiz Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio de Alcântara in the 89th minute of the match. Luiz Fabiano Leão took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luiz Corrêa. Pedro Luiz Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
