He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Royal Knights FC reached it. Luís Guilherme Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Alagoano in the 11th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Novaes came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Gláuber Mattos. But to his dismay, Gláuber Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A collision led to Royal Knights FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rui Falcão hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Luís Guilherme Novaes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 46th play minutes Júlio Brasil shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Luís Guilherme Novaes and just under the crossbar into goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Andrade was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Júlio Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Guilherme Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Adilson Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Knights FC's protests and gave Adilson Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Royal Knights FC's Adilson Cardozo got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Júlio Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Royal Knights FC defense, Reinaldo Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Guilherme Novaes. The Royal Knights FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Guilherme Novaes should have stopped the shot. Severino Madureira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Celsinho Garcia. When Gláuber Mattos came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Mattos couldn't finish the play. Luís Guilherme Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Brasil in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a corner. Royal Knights FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelinho Ramalho ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 86th minute, Faustão Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Luís Guilherme Novaes. Royal Knights FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. The supporters of Royal Knights FC booed when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão Alagoano's late challenge caught a Royal Knights FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustão Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
