Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Brasil in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Zonta saved MALZBIER from getting behind. In the 67th match minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Mattos to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Alberto Figueiredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severino Madureira. That made the score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MALZBIER walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
