Vale Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Guilherme Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Recife might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Guilherme Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Recife ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Peixoto in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Guilherme Novaes saved Royal Knights FC from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Filipe Recife left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vale Verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Vale Verde's João Francisco Novaes got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match, Fernandinho Fantini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but César Tepedino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Diego Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Royal Knights FC's Allan Andrade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind César Tepedino. César Tepedino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 27th minute, Filipe Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Dedê Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Filipe Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vale Verde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal Knights FC the free kick. The supporters of Royal Knights FC booed when Vale Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Celsinho Garcia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but César Tepedino skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th match minute, Royal Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Garcia to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Moisés Peixoto made a precise shot to the right of Luís Guilherme Novaes. Royal Knights FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. With a little luck, Vale Verde's César Tepedino got control of the ball when Dedê Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The wind increased when Allan Andrade made the kick off in the second half. Fernandinho Fantini took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César Tepedino. César Tepedino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After 56 minutes of play, Royal Knights FC's Dedê Rossi made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Vale Verde booed when Royal Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vale Verde's Bruno Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Vale Verde defense, Dedê Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Tepedino. The Vale Verde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Tepedino should have stopped the shot. César Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Vale Verde's César Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Andrade in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match Celsinho Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but César Tepedino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
