Claudinho Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Claudinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandrinho Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, Clube do Remo MZ's Anderson Meira got control of the ball when José Vítor Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line.
