After 33 minutes of play, 100 Chance's Nelsinho do Nascimento made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléber Neiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, 100 Chance's Luisão Capixaba got a free kick in the 37th minute. Leopoldo Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermínio Medeiros in the 39th minute. Atlético-PR's Cléber Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Marquez in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Medeiros in the 47th minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermínio Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. 100 Chance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Paulo Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Cléber Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Gerber in the 60th minute of play. Hermínio Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Ronaldão da Costa could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Cléber Neiva however easily saved by the left post. Roberto Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Paulo Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, 100 Chance's Roberto Gerber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cléber Neiva. Cléber Neiva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Atlético-PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luiz Paulo Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Atlético-PR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Godoi couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Nelsinho do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. If Naldo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
