Talento Futebol clube's Albertinho Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Jacinto in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Atlético-PR defense, Celsinho Koehler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléber Neiva. The Atlético-PR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber Neiva should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Atlético-PR booed when Talento Futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cléber Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Koehler in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Hermínio Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Talento Futebol clube's Celsinho Koehler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cléber Neiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Celsinho Koehler hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético-PR's Sérgio Jacinto got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Celsinho Koehler made a precise shot to the right of Cléber Neiva. Atlético-PR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Jacinto in the 44th minute of play forced Talento Futebol clube's goalkeeper Albertinho Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juninho Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Dino Brito sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Albertinho Tasso threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Dino Brito this time. Albertinho Tasso came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético-PR's Sérgio Jacinto. But to his dismay, Sérgio Jacinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Cléber Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Vaz in the 75th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, Talento Futebol clube's Váldson Arce made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléber Neiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jamie Tat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Doriva Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talento Futebol clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Doriva Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Talento Futebol clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
