Ronaldo Motta made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlético-PR's Iuri Gaúcho. Talento Futebol clube's Albertinho Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Talento Futebol clube from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Doriva Vaz made the kick off in the second half.
