After a rather tough play, Flamengo CIMZ's Waldemar Arruda got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jaime Vides hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Natanael Sergipano took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvinho Novaes. Silvinho Novaes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tarcisio Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Pena in the 27th minute of the match. Jaime Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Classe A Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Davi Pena. Classe A Futebol Clube's Abelardo Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ramiro Duarte took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tarcisio Tasso to make any attempt to save it. Duarte Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A hard shot by Anísio Netto from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Tarcisio Tasso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Flamengo CIMZ booed when Classe A Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Abelardo Sá left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Classe A Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Flamengo CIMZ's Tarcisio Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Vides in the 51st minute of play. Tarcisio Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvério Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Silvinho Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarcisio Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Passos's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Leandro Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Flamengo CIMZ's Silvério Valadares got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Passos in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarcisio Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Davi Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Waldemar Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcisio Tasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo Sá went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Classe A Futebol Clube's Silvinho Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Classe A Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Duarte came free, but Tarcisio Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Classe A Futebol Clube's zone, Germano de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvinho Novaes came out of the goal and Germano de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Flamengo CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Flamengo CIMZ booed when Classe A Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natanael Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
