Iuri Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto de Godoi having to interfere. The long shot by Artur Azevedo in the 20th minute really tested Ernesto de Godoi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 22nd minute, Osvaldo Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Osvaldo Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Cachaça FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Augusto Oliveira hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Danilo Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Oliveira hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes, Cachaça FC's Luisão Pimenta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danilo Arruda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachaça FC reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute, Luisão Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 57th minute, Kiko Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Nascimento came free, but Danilo Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Edgar do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes, Cachaça FC's Luís Fernando Vaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danilo Arruda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachaça FC reached it. Dráuzio de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Danilo Arruda came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachaça FC's Osvaldo Nascimento. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cachaça FC's Osvaldo Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Cachaça FC's Luisão Pimenta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danilo Arruda. Danilo Arruda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 75 minutes, Augusto Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Braga Junior FC and the Cachaça FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Oliveira. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinei Sergipano during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Dinei Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Neves in the 82nd minute of the match. Osvaldo Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Sabóia. Artur Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Nico Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Luisão Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nico Schmidt hit a great ball. Luisão Pimenta, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
