LRCA Office Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eurico Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Josué Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LRCA Office Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maverick Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 13th match minute, LRCA Office Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Mazza came free, but Alexsandro Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Edgar Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Percival Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Mazza in the 28th minute of play. If Percival Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Roger Rossi hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Montenegro. Roger Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Roger Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Mazza to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Edgar Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Rossi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When LRCA Office Club's Dalmo de Andrade in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Percival Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Guedes having to interfere. Edgar Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Eurico Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Mazza scored 1-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caio dos Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caio dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Cordeiro in the 82nd minute of play. Maverick Futebol Clube succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though LRCA Office Club had controlled the match.
