After 5 played minutes LULU TRICOLOR got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Souto. When Gernando Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LULU TRICOLOR's protests and gave Gernando Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Gernando Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wanderson Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Vitinho Vides made a precise shot to the right of Wanderson Cordeiro. LULU TRICOLOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Wanderson Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Mazza in the 19th minute of play. Olívio Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Cordeiro having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play LULU TRICOLOR's Gernando Moreira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 35 played minutes LULU TRICOLOR got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Moreira. 40 minutes into the match, Vitinho Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wanderson Cordeiro. LULU TRICOLOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitinho Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

LULU TRICOLOR's Hélder Souto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Norberto Linhares in the 55 minute of the game. LULU TRICOLOR's attentive Osmar Romero managed to snatch the ball when Carlos Augusto Paes made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. After 60 minutes, Dalmo de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LRCA Office Club and the LULU TRICOLOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of LULU TRICOLOR booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Augusto Paes made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vitinho Vides. The supporters of LRCA Office Club booed when LULU TRICOLOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Meireles was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LULU TRICOLOR! In the 81st minute of the match LRCA Office Club's Horácio Saldanha broke free and sent away a ball that went into the goal by the right post. 0-5. LULU TRICOLOR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Edgar Mazza scored to the left of an out of position Wanderson Cordeiro, making the score, 0-6. The LULU TRICOLOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LRCA Office Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
