Luís Paulo Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toninho Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Red John S.K's Christian Monteiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo da Silva. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Matadores FC's Hélio Maciel got a free kick in the 16th minute. Paulo da Silva made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Christian Monteiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute of the match, Sílvio Veiga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo da Silva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Paulão Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo da Silva having to interfere. The supporters of Matadores FC booed when Red John S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gonçalo Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matadores FC's protests and gave Gonçalo Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Mazza. Red John S.K's Christian Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Christian Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matadores FC's Paulo da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Paraense in the 36th minute of play. Paulo da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Zonta in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Matadores FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cristiano Viana hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Christian Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red John S.K fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Paulo da Silva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Monteiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Viana made a kick off. Paulo da Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otávio Paraense went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Falcão came free, but Paulo da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Gonçalo Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reginaldo Donatello scored 5-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo da Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute Christian Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 82nd minute Red John S.K were awarded a corner. Nilmar Berger went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Nilmar Berger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo da Silva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 84th minute, Reginaldo Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Monteiro succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. 89 minutes into the match, Christian Monteiro notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Matadores FC's Paulo da Silva. Paulo da Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Braga during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Red John S.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Braga to maneuver through the defense. During the 96th minute of the match Gonçalo Mazza completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent.
