Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 107, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enéas Brodel started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Gualter Maranhense notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Defensores de Savóia's Natã Cavalcante. Natã Cavalcante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Kaká Linhares put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensores de Savóia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! Nuno Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Pena in the 10th minute of play. Defensores de Savóia's Natã Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Brodel in the 15th minute of play. Natã Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Maranhense in the 16th minute of the match. If Arthur Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Dida de Barros made a precise shot to the right of Natã Cavalcante. Defensores de Savóia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. XV de Piracicaba's Nuno Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save XV de Piracicaba from getting a goal against them. In the 25th match minute, XV de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Ulisses Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, João Augusto de Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natã Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Natã Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Assis Ronaldinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Defensores de Savóia's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Brodel came free, but Natã Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, João Augusto de Amaral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Natã Cavalcante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Arthur Pena made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to XV de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. João Augusto de Amaral hit a great ball. Dida de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Enéas Brodel in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Natã Cavalcante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nuno Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Ferraz in the 56th minute of the match. Natã Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enéas Brodel went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Enéas Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Natã Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarcisio Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Assis Ronaldinho in the 69th minute of play forced Defensores de Savóia's goalkeeper Natã Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natã Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natã Cavalcante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enéas Brodel in the 78th minute. When Ulisses Freire fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Savóia's protests and gave Ulisses Freire a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of XV de Piracicaba booed when Defensores de Savóia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Dida de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XV de Piracicaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Savóia the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Dida de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Pena came free, but Nuno Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defensores de Savóia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tarcisio Botelho in the 86th minute. Natã Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when João Augusto de Amaral sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Assis Ronaldinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natã Cavalcante. Defensores de Savóia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Assis Ronaldinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The XV de Piracicaba players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
