Alessandro Neves's late challenge caught a Juventus EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessandro Neves helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes 20 DE SETEMBRO got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Neves. In the 10th minute, Romário da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder de Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The Juventus EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 20 DE SETEMBRO were winning 2-3.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 20 DE SETEMBRO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
