Dráuzio França's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Ian Brasil - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 10th minute. Catadão's Renan Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Costa in the 18th minute of play. Conrado Costa took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Mendonça. Renan Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Conrado Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ian Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Massa in the 29th minute of play. Raí Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Conrado Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Catadão's Renan Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Paraíba in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Washington Veiga got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo de Mendonça. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Costa was the one to do the kick off. Márcio Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Catadão:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™:s goal. A collision led to ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Clóvis Miranda hit a great ball. The supporters of ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ booed when Catadão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Váldson Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Mendonça was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After 67 played minutes Catadão got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Veiga. Conrado Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Catadão's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Terra came free, but Renan Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Catadão defense, Conrado Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renan Mendonça. The Catadão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renan Mendonça should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Ian Brasil got control of the ball when Jorge Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Leonardo de Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renan Mendonça. Catadão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo de Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jorge Massa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Sandro Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ian Brasil made a huge save. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
