Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bola Forte started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Catadão's zone, Simão de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Mendonça came out of the goal and Simão de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Catadão's Dênis Munhoz got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute Dênis Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mamutes EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dráuzio França was slow to take the kick. During this time Catadão's players had a chance to rest. 26 minutes into the match, Catadão's goalkeeper Renan Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bola Forte. After 28 minutes of play, Mamutes EC's Bola Forte made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio França came free, but Nilson Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Catadão defense, Bola Forte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renan Mendonça. The Catadão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renan Mendonça should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Bola Forte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Walmyr Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Massa came free, but Nilson Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catadão's Renan Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Catadão from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Mamutes EC's Bola Forte got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simão de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian da Costa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Bola Forte came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mamutes EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bola Forte couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes, Ian da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catadão and the Mamutes EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ian da Costa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Renan Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Tróia in the 63rd minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Nilson Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mamutes EC's Nilson Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian da Costa in the 69th minute of play. If Walmyr Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With 80 minutes on the clock, Eugênio Domingues commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 80 played minutes Mamutes EC got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Domingues. 81 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio França came free, but Nilson Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Dantas went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ronaldo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Mendonça having to interfere. A collision led to Catadão getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dênis Munhoz hit a great ball. Mamutes EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
